Basically I’ve been studying court reporting in New York since October 2004. I’ve reached 90 WPM, which is nice and all, but when I went in to start in my new class, the school said that I had to pay some fees before I continue to the next class. Whatever that is about. So for now I’m in a holding position while this is sorted out.
Regardless, when (and if) I finish school, I have a lovely career ahead of me as a court reporter in New York’s famed court system, as seen in this photo promoting the career in New York State.

This is the career I’ve chosen.
So for all of you out there considering a career in court reporting, remember this: your life will be filled with suffering and anguish, all in hope that one day you’ll make buckets of money. Is it worth it? Ask me in five years.
